Come to Lori Wilson Park and take part in the event, Hands across the Sand, on Saturday, February 13, 2010.  This event is to show our pride and love for Florida beaches, and the pristeen and beautiful condition they are in.   There will be a beach clean-up starting at 12:30, and the Hands across the Sand event will start at 1:00.  It's as simple as taking each other's hands down at the shoreline, to make a ring around Florida, and let everyone know that not only do we love our beaches on "Love your Beach" weekend, but also that any potential future offshore oil drillers are NOT welcome on--or off--Florida's shore.  Other areas around the state will be doing the same thing at the same time, so come down and be part of this statewide event .
